Data deletion instructions

1. How to request deletion

You can request deletion of personal information associated with Alve Tech without signing in to our website. Email our designated Privacy and Grievance Officer:

This link opens your email application. Sending the email starts a request for review; it does not automatically erase records.

2. What to include

• Your name and an email address or phone number associated with the information.
• The pharmacy or business name, if the request concerns a pharmacy workspace.
• Whether you are the account holder, a patient, an authorised representative or a business administrator.
• What you want deleted: for example an enquiry, an Alve Tech account, a WhatsApp conversation or information associated with an enabled Meta business connection.
• A relevant invoice number, business account identifier or approximate interaction date, if available. Include only what is necessary to locate the information.

Do not send passwords, OTPs, access tokens, card details or unrelated medical records. We will ask for proportionate verification if needed.

3. Meta and WhatsApp information

To request deletion of information we received through an enabled Meta/WhatsApp service, identify the relevant phone number or business account and the interaction or connection you want removed. We will check the request, discontinue relevant access where appropriate, and delete associated Meta-derived information that is no longer necessary or otherwise required to be deleted under Meta’s terms.

You can also disconnect a connection through available Meta/business account controls or ask us to help. Disconnecting a connection and deleting existing records are different actions. Removing information from Alve Tech does not delete your Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp account or copies independently held by Meta, the pharmacy, another recipient or an authority; those requests must be addressed to the relevant organisation.

4. Patient and pharmacy records

If you are a patient, contact the pharmacy shown on your bill first. The pharmacy determines the use of the patient information it collected. You may also send the request to us and we will coordinate with the pharmacy after verifying the relevant identity and authority.

A pharmacy owner may request account closure, export assistance or deletion through the same contact. An account’s suspension, subscription expiry or disconnection from Meta does not by itself erase its billing database. Some dispensing, invoice, credit-note, payment, audit or tax records may need to be retained by law or to resolve a dispute. We will explain the applicable limitation and consider removal or de-identification of unnecessary personal fields.

5. What happens next

1. Acknowledgement: we acknowledge the request and establish which information it concerns.
2. Verification: we may verify account ownership or representative authority and coordinate with the pharmacy where relevant.
3. Assessment and action: we delete eligible information or explain any lawful retention requirement, correction route or other limitation. Meta Platform Data is handled in accordance with Meta’s applicable deletion requirements.
4. Outcome: we reply with the action taken and any relevant retained categories, reasons or backup-related delay. Restricted backup copies are addressed on expiry or replacement, and applicable deletion instructions must be reapplied if a backup is restored.

We handle requests promptly and address privacy grievances within one month where required by applicable law. If further information is necessary or part of the request cannot be completed, we explain why and the next step. Follow up with the officer if you have not received a response.
